The Arsenal vs West Ham live stream will see the Gunners look to extend their excellent home record and keep the pressure on the EPL title rivals when they welcome the Hammers to the Emirates today.

The busy Christmas period has arrived and just like last season Arsenal find themselves very much in the race for the title. The Gunners have not been blowing teams away like this did in the last campaign, but they have been exceptionally tight at the back. Summer signing Declan Rice has provided some extra support for the back four and the north London club have been incredibly difficult to break down.

Rice will certainly want to impress against his former club, especially after starting on the bench in the Carabao Cup tie as West Ham secured an impressive 3-1 win over Arsenal. Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus both scored in that victory and have been in superb form in recent weeks. The forwards carry a serious goal threat and manager David Moyes will hope they can find some cracks in the Gunners defence.

The Gunners need to beat the Hammers at the Emirates Stadium in order to leapfrog Liverpool once more and bag the crown of being top of the tree at the official halfway point of the campaign.

Mikel Arteta's team drew at Anfield last time out, whereas West Ham come into this one having beaten Manchester United.

A point will take David Moyes' men back above the Red Devils, who came from two down to beat Aston Villa on Boxing Day in a result which favoured Arsenal's title challenge.

Liverpool took over the top spot in the league as the Reds and Gunners go back and forth at the summit of the English top flight, but with Arsenal two points back, they can re-take the lead as the two clubs go level on 19 games played.

The Hammers are a tough side to get a bead on, having put forth some impressive displays of fortitude coupled with a few truly awful performances of late. They put Manchester United to the sword last time out in a 2-0 victory, which came on the heels of a 5-1 thumping by Liverpool the match before that.

David Moyes has also helmed a solid 3-0 win over Wolves and a 2-0 European victory over Freiburg in recent weeks, plus a 5-0 thrashing by Fulham, so it's tough to know which version of West Ham will take the field any given match.

Arsenal will miss the improving Kai Havertz due to a suspension for yellow card accumulation, after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Liverpool last time out. A groin injury for Fabio Vieira means it will likely be Leandro Trossard who steps in for the absent German.

Thomas Partey has returned to training and could be brought back into the fold in this match, needing a few substitute appearances before he's ready to start. Takehiro Tomiyasu remains out with a calf injury, and Jurrien Timber is a long-term absentee thanks to his serious knee injury.

West Ham are 10 points behind Arsenal in a respectable seventh place after 18 league games and will be hoping to pull off another shock result in the context of the title race this season. Arsenal's last outing was a draw against Liverpool whereas West Ham are oozing with confidence from their win over Manchester United.

Mikel Arteta's team faces no new injury challenges leading up to Thursday's game. However, the in-form Kai Havertz will be absent from the field against West Ham due to a suspension. The hosts continue to grapple with the absence of Jurrien Timber, Fabio Vieira, Thomas Partey, and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who remain sidelined.

The only injury concern for the visitors is Michail Antonio, who continues to contend with a persistent knee problem.

The London club dealt with winter illnesses affecting their squad before their victory over Man United. Nayef Aguerd and Maxwel Cornet were both unavailable for that match, but Aguerd has shown signs of improvement in the past week.

The Gunners dropped back down to second on Boxing Day after Liverpool won 2-0 at Burnley. Aston Villa's collapse at Manchester United meant Unai Emery's men failed to overtake the north Londoners despite leading 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Three points against West Ham will put Arsenal one point above Liverpool going into the final game of 2023. However, David Moyes' side have hit some form in recent weeks, defeating Wolves and Man United in their last two games.

Arsenal are unbeaten at the Emirates in the league this season - winning their last five in a row - but now welcome a West Ham side who knocked them out of the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

David Moyes’s side beat Manchester United 2-0 on their last outing and face a reunion with former captain Declan Rice following back to back Premier League victories.
